SLE PTA has organized a dinner option on Curriculum Night to make this important event a little easier on our busy families. This is not a fundraiser. While you are enjoying your dinner and waiting for Curriculum Night to begin, you will have an opportunity to complete your PTA Membership for 17/18 and learn about an opportunity to help with the Boosterthon Fun Run.
August 31st from 5pm-6pm in the Cafeteria
Meal provided by Tommy Tamale Tommy Tamale for pre-orders turned in to front office by Wednesday, August 30th at 12:00 noon. You will not be able to order the night of.
$6.00 per meal cash or credit paid directly to Tommy Tamale when you pick your meal(s) up. Tommy Tamales is not charging sales tax for our meals.
Menu Options: 2 tamales with rice and beans (all tamales and beans are gluten free).

Silver Lake Parents,
It’s time to start planning for the 2017-18 school year! We are starting the process to fill open PTA positions, both officer and committee chairs/event coordinators. The following is a list of next year’s open positions:
Attached you will find a description of each position along with an interest form for you to complete. Please note that the interest form includes all PTA positions, not just those that are open, so if you are interested in serving in that position in future years feel free to mark all positions for which you’d be interested. The 2017-18 Slate of Officers will be presented and voted on at the PTA meeting on Thursday, April 20th at 6:30 PM in the SLE cafeteria. Please plan to attend.
Please complete and submit the attached interest form to your child’s teacher or the Silver Lake front office by Friday, April 7th.

Adjunto encontrara una descripción de cada posición aparte del formulario de interés que puede completar. Por favor note que el formulario de interés incluye todas las posiciones del PTA, no solamente a las que estén abiertas, por eso si usted está interesado en una posición en los siguientes años por favor indique que está interesado en estas posiciones y marque el papel con eso. La lista de oficiales para 2017-2018 será presentada y votado en la junta de PTA el jueves, 20 de abril a las 6:30 PM en la cafetería de SLE. Por favor queremos que asistan.
