It’s time to start planning for the 2017-18 school year! We are starting the process to fill open PTA positions, both officer and committee chairs/event coordinators. The following is a list of next year’s open positions:
- Healthy Lifestyles (Board Position)
- Destination Imagination
- Environmental Awareness
- Family Fun Night/Movie Night
- Student Phone Book
- Talent Show
- Yearbook
- Yearbook Assistant
Attached you will find a description of each position along with an interest form for you to complete. Please note that the interest form includes all PTA positions, not just those that are open, so if you are interested in serving in that position in future years feel free to mark all positions for which you’d be interested. The 2017-18 Slate of Officers will be presented and voted on at the PTA meeting on Thursday, April 20th at 6:30 PM in the SLE cafeteria. Please plan to attend.
Please complete and submit the attached interest form to your child’s teacher or the Silver Lake front office by Friday, April 7th.
